Damon Galgut on tour

Damon Galgut will be in New York City and Miami next week promoting his novel In a Strange Room, a finalist for the 2010 Man Booker Prize. Join us in New York for two evenings of books, wine and conversation, and in Miami for readings, book signings, and Europa giveaways.

Damon's appearances at the Miami Book Fair, November 20 and 21:

*12 noon, Saturday 20 November, at the GRANTA/EUROPA EDITIONS fair booth: Damon will be meeting his readers and signing books from 12 noon to 1 PM at the Europa booth (section E, Miami Book Fair, Miami-Dade campus). Europa will be giving away tote bags and "I read therefore I am" posters to celebrate the occasion.

*2:00 pm, Sunday 21 November. Damon will join authors Elizabeth Kostova, Kathleen Kent, and Caroline Leavitt, for readings followed by Q&A and book signing. Details >>


Galgut is one of South Africa's finest literary talents. The author of six novels, four plays and a collection of short stories, he has been shortlisted for the Commonwealth Writers Prize and the Dublin/IMPAC Award. Galgut has twice been a Booker finalist; in 2003, his novel The Good Doctor was shortlisted for the prize.
